We would like to thank you for taking an interest in Food For Though, Lancaster’s first non-profit, community hub that’s aim is to give back to the community through a series of projects and campaigns to help those families who most need it.
Based in Skerton, Lancaster, we offer a small cafe space with delicious food options, prepared by highly trained chefs who have worked in some of the biggest hotels in the area. The thing that is most important to everyone at the heart of Food for Thought is the community. We are working very closely with the local authorities, schools and other charities to raise awareness of the problems that are affecting the people in the immediate community at present. Over time we hope to make a difference and will be able to close projects or put them into hiatus while we focus on more prominent issues.
Our founding members have a history of working within the armed forces, and this is also something which we aim to work on within the Lancaster area; contacting ex-forces veterans and providing help and support to them and their families.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be able to provide you with further information on our projects or how to get involved.
